LIFE IS UNFAIR

You may have heard the saying "life is unfair" before and it's often said in a tone that suggests that someone is feeling sorry for themselves. And while it's true that bad things happen to good people, we can't forget that everything that happens to us is a result of our own actions. We lost our granddad on October 31st, 2020 to COVID. He was a person who had never been to the hospital in his life and this was the first and last time. I've heard this sentence from 1,000 people asking why this had to happen to your granddad. And many times we all expect only good things to happen in our life but we forget that whatever happens is because of our own actions - both to ourselves and society..

Every decision we make has consequences that follow and life unfortunately is not always fair. We must try to put ourselves in other people's shoes to understand why this might be the case - for example, those who are born with a disability or vision impairment. It's easy to take things for granted when we have all our senses working properly but we mustn't forget that not everyone is as lucky. It's important to accept that expecting life to be smooth-sailing all the time is close to impossible and unrealistic.
